Who we are: BluLemon (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2005 by Mr. Russel Jones who started his career in Television and Radio in 1980 as a technician at the SABC in Johannesburg studying broadcast technology at Wits University. There could only be one word that would describe how much he enjoys his profession, it’s “passion.” That is what drives Russel Jones. Russel’s career has paralleled the evolution of broadcasting over the past four decades and he had a front row seat to many of our industry’s biggest achievements.
We have a Level 4 BBBEE rating and contribute towards Social and Skillsdevelopment programmes.
Blulemon PTY (LTD) is a wholly owned South African company that Uses Local Expertise and Local Suppliers wherever possible. We also have extensive experience in International Trade, both for Import and Export.
Our Equipment and Services can be found all over the African Continent, ranging from Nigeria to the Kenya and other Southern African countries like Lesotho and Swaziland.
We have Designed and BuiltRadio and Television Infrastructure for many Community,Commercial and Government Broadcasting organizations. This includes many Community Radio Stations and at least 10 commercial or Government studios in South Africa alone.
BluLemon PTY (LTD is Compact In Size and has Great Skills, Knowledge, and Flexibility: Our Core Team consist of 5 Permanent Staff and Engineers. For every project, we compose a team and assign a Dedicated Project Manager. Projects with up to 45 staff have been handled successfully.
For Large Consultancy Projects we co- operate with worldwide recognized consultants and project managers.
During Implementation of Turnkey Projects, we establish an office located at the customer’s site.
